Dr. Ravi K. Puri has a Ph.D. in pharmacy and spent almost thirty years in teaching and research. Dr. Puri has a broad range of experience and has excelled in the fields of pharmacy, biochemistry, and environmental sciences. He has taught and conducted research at multiple institutions including The University of Mississippi- Oxford, Oregon State University, The University of Florida- Gainsville, The University of Missouri- Columbia, and Punjab University- Chandigarh, India. Dr. Puri has published hundreds of research papers and scientific reviews in journals of international repute, including chapters in reference books published by the CRC Press and Lewis Publishers. He has also been on the review panel for many prestigious scientific journals in the United States and abroad.

Dr. Puri retired from the University of Missouri in 2000 when he was working as a Group Leader at the Environmental Trace Research Center. He decided to embark on a new adventure and joined the Hospitality industry with the aid of his late wife Mrinal Puri, and sons Dr. Raman Puri M.D., and Mr. Vivek Puri J.D..  Today The Puri Group of Enterprises thrives in mid-Missouri and contains 7 properties from world-renowned brands from Hilton Hotels and Resorts, IHG, and Choice Hotels. Dr. Puri's success in hospitality reflects his hard work and the skills that he has developed over his time. 

 

Dr. Puri is also the celebrated author of the book Natural Aphrodisiacs: Myth or Reality. The book is widely acclaimed by pharmacists, nurses, physicians, chemists, and herbalists. This publication is one of the most comprehensive compilations on Natural Aphrodisiacs.

Dr. Puri's latest endeavor is his dive into spirituality. He has published three books in this area of interest: Consciousness: The Ultimate Reality, Meditation over Medication, and God's Existence: Religious and Scientific Reflection.
